In early April, eight young Catholic women spent a weekend at St. Placid Priory in more focused discernment of a religious vocation. Six Catholic Sisters from various orders facilitated the weekend, giving the young women information about what it’s like to be a religious and an opportunity to talk about how they are experiencing God’s call. There was also time to rest, walk, reflect, and listen for God’s voice. This is an annual Archdiocesan-sponsored retreat that usually takes place at St. Placid Priory, and will be scheduled again next year at around the same time.
