Zoom: Zentangle

With Monika Ellis, OSB

September 5 - 26, 2023
Zentangle - not what it sounds like!  Neither of the Zen tradition, nor about getting tangled up.  It is a method of drawing that uses small, deliberate strokes of a black pen on white paper. The images that come from Zentangle are stunning.  The experience is focused and fun.  You will not believe the beauty that comes from your hand when creating in the Zentangle method.  Sister Monika is a Certified Zentangle Teacher who wishes to spread the joy and the benefits of this simple way of making images. Take one session or get a price break on all four!

Weekend Silent Centering Prayer Retreat

With Sr. Anna-Camille Wooden, OSB

October 20 - 22, 2023

Zoom: Poetry of Doubt and Faith

With Shemaiah Gonzalez

November 11, 2023
Like David called out to the Lord in Psalms, so too, modern psalmists wrestle with doubt and faith in the language of poetry. From Pádraig Ó Tuama’s popular podcast Poetry Unbound to Douglas Murray’s weekend poetry reflection Things Worth Remembering for The Free Press, there has been a resurgence in finding meaning and solace through the doorway of poetry. Spend three luscious hours reading and discussing 20th and 21st century poetry and how these words can hold us as we struggle with faith and doubt.
