Oblate Roy DeLeon loves to sketch out in the open air. He also loves to spend time on our monastic grounds. This is an image of St. Placid which graces the entry to our monastery. It is done in terra cotta by artist Bruno Laverdier. It was commissioned by the first class of St. Placid High School. It was set into the pool for our 50th anniversary of the founding of the community.
