What is an Oblate?
Oblates of St. Benedict are Christian individuals who are attracted to Benedictine spirituality and who have connected with a local Benedictine community in order to enrich their Christian way of life. Oblates seek God by striving to become holy in their own chosen way of life. Today, throughout the world, there are thousands of Oblates praying and working in spiritual union with Benedictine women and men of various communities.
What is an Oblate of St. Benedict at St. Placid Priory?
Oblates of St. Benedict are active baptized Christians who bond with the Benedictine Community of St. Placid Priory to enrich their Christian spirituality.
